I can't tell you how proud I am of Elin Woods wanting to devorce Tiger. For a minute there I thought she was going to do the honorary thing and stand by this poor excuse of a human being let alone a husband. $335 million should some how ease her pain and the embarrassment she has had to endure. It's the least he could do.
She's putting a message out there, as is Sandra Bullock, that this kind of behaviour and betrayal is just not exceptable, no matter who you are. Simone Warne could take a lesson from both of them, but somehow we all know that's not going to happen. For one, who would want either Warne, and two, they truly do deserve each other. Like attracts like, as they say!
It's hard to believe that someone with such a high profile got away with this for so long. Tiger came across disciplined, focased, arrogant and intensely private. You never saw his wife and kids at tournaments, and now we know why. Not only was he trying to hide his wife ,he was trying even harder to hide his life!
Even he would agree that showing public affection for his wife ,with everything he was getting up to, would just make him look like a hypocrite. I some how think he did have a conscience when it came to not displaying his family and why he protected them so fiercely.
As for Elin, you have to wonder what sort of relationship they did have behind close doors. Maybe it was an unhappy marriage with all the common problems that couples have. Who's to say she wasn't a verbal or physical abuser in the relationship.
When your wife is chasing you out of the house with a golf club and smashes the window's of your car with it, you would tend to think she means business. Tiger is obviously scared of this woman. He would have known the consequences of his actions but chose to do what he did anway.
I'm sure he was so consumed with his double life that he couldn't see past the mess he was getting himself into. When you have other people helping you, he probably even started to make excuse's for his behaviour and validate it. Who knows? What we do know is that he is paying a high price for it. He has lost respect, endorsements, a cool $335 mil and most importantly his family. I wonder now if he thinks it was all worth it.
